I registered for the first time a few months back. I have to wait til November to see if I will actually 'pop my voting cherry'.
btw, that expression was used on Boston Public the other night to interesting effect.

I voted for the first time, last night, too.
It felt good - LOL.
The candidate I voted for lost, but the margin on the winning candidate has been radically reduced this year, so hopeful he may ACTUALLY listen to his constituents.
Good for you scotsman! I have been voting for a few years and I love it! It's very empowering. :) ~Aztec
Oh so did I - really enjoyed it too - but I was kinda dissapointed, I wazs hoping a local JW would see it, but nah nothing. Voted Independant as this little old village councellor comes around every so often with his little newsletter - bless him ! unfortunatly the others are useless parties.
To my glee, all my candidates succeeded! But to be honest, my choice was with those that I find least offensive rather than really believe in.
