There is an online archive of the early watchtowers/golden age/awakes. In 1916 there was a Questions from the Readers entry regarding the baptizing of people after 1914. Since the followers were told that the "rapture" was going to occur in 1914, that was the cut off date to get baptized. 1914 having come and gone without anyone going to heaven, the query was what to do about people wanting to get baptized now?
So it was a definite date promoted by the WT. It's plain from the after effects.

Ask most what happened in 1914 and you'll get told, "Satan was cast out of heaven, therefore World War I started because he knew he only had a short period of time before he got abyssed."
Other say, "Jesus took up kingly rule in heaven and God's will started to be done in heaven (like it hadn't been for sometime previous and heaven was just a variation on the theme of hell."
Your most common answer will be Satan was kicked out of heaven. But they are trying to back away from that and say they never said he was kicked out in 1914. They want wriggle room.
The other thing they say is that 1914 is the end of the 7 gentile times which started 607 BCE when Jerusalem went into Babylonian captivity. They say 7 times = 2520 years. A lot are taken in by this calculation which appears compelling but rests on changing the 20th year of Nebuchadnezzar into his 2nd year and the 3rd year of King Jehoiachin into his 11th and final year (618 BCE). Your not alone Acer21 the majority of practicing JW`s today could not give you a definitive answer simply because they wouldn`t know the answer.
And if they did try to answer you ,expect a number of conflicting answers that would not address the question you asked .
They are masters of deflecting questions that are too hard to answer.
Simply because the Governing Body of JW`s re-write their history to fit in with what they currently believe and not with what they were preaching or saying so many years ago.

Haha they did not even get that right. They said 1914 would be the end of the time of troubles. Well methinks reality showed it was the start of the time of trouble.
Also they specifically stated before 1914 that the Great War that everyone expected to happen soon was not part of the prophecy. If any Great War were indeed to break out (which JW doubted) , it wasn't a fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
Really, they got everything wrong about 1914.

I am having trouble locating what is the 1914 prophecy?
JW.org states that the JW's accurately predicted the events of 1914, but do not indicate what the predictions were, or the specific fulfillments. What do JW's think they are (predictions/fulfillments)?
You can't trust JW.org on many, many matters, 1914 being one of them. They lie about their organisational history. You need to research older WT publications to discern the truth about 1914.
What JW's think is not what they are allowed to think, unless it's in line with official WT dogma. In private, they might admit some errors (and not even in all cases), but mostly they will not risk their membership by discussing the flaws and errors in public. Needless to say that WT is a high control cult that keeps members under control by use of FOG (fear, obligation, guilt).
