We used to have a "Brother" in our hall that used to give these "scary" talks. We used to laugh at him and call him "Brother doom and gloom." This was BEFORE we left. He was and is still a strange man. Interestingly, he CAN'T function outside of WT.

Just assuming everyone knows that this is the congregation in Pt. Richie, FL that WT uses for all the shut ins approved for logging into www.stream.jw.org with the privilege of getting their meetings at home. They were available to stream (permissions granted local cong admin: usually COBE or SEC) a day after they were recorded. Sunday meeting were always available Monday and the the Pt. Richie midweek meeting was on Mondays and posted Tuesday.
I loved this "provision from Jehovah" because I never had to actually work up any of my Thursday midweek meeting talks. As the COBE I gave myself permission, logged in, watched the part, took notes, got on the stage in my local KH and regurgitated the whole thing. Taa daa.
Please tell me I'm wasn't the only PIMO elder who did this!?

That Local Needs brother is so full of himself. You can tell he's just loving every minute of it. There probably isn't a humble bone in his body. He's most likely a bully that loves the judicial aspect of being an elder. And I'm willing to bet money that he's most likely the COBE, and if he wants anybody's opinion he'll give it to them. The way he says, "I wonder what Jehovah sees," at around 55:05 makes me want to punch a brick wall. Can you imagine how his Local Needs talk would be if the topic were sexual? I don't know a thing about that man personally, and I could be completely off the mark, but something about him just reminds me of all the evil that elders are capable of.
