Vidiot, re: "negro man" -- I think this is a generational thing, as I grew up thinking it was a perfectly acceptable word as well. It became politically incorrect at some point and the new approved term was "colored" or "black" and now I don't think you're supposed to say even those words, you are now not to mention skin color in any way.

I'm sorry as I don't live in the U.S I am unfamiliar with their terminology. I was going to say black but thought that had a bad connotation, so opted for the word negro. My apologies.
