Regional talks may avoid the use of "alarm" words like "disfellowshipped" but use "softer" phrases that imply the same thing.
For example, "being careful not to allow your emotions to cause you to forget Jehovah's righteous principles about not keeping company with those who disrespect the high moral standards of His people."
