I can walk to my Chinese restaurant(s). All still open. Have been getting takeout from both Americanized Chinese as well as higher end authentic Thai and Chinese foods.

Here in the UK most 'Chinese' restaurants are actually run by Hong Kongese.

A bit like most 'Indian' restaurants here are actually Bangladeshi.

I usually have a Chinese takeaway once a month. The Kung Fu Kitchen, near me, is top quality. The staff are lovely people.

So, I hear there are those idiots who conflate the lurgi pandemic with Chinese people. What gormless trogs.

Just because the CCP are being shady and probably dishonest (being guarded what I say), doesn't mean Chinese people are all to blame. The same as we cannot be blamed for all the crap that happens because of our leaders where we live.

My daughter's fellah is a Canadian Chinese bloke. I cannot think of a better geezer for my daughter.

I feel bad for the stigma that is attached to anything Chinese. Will people still play Chinese checkers or buy fancy china?? Lol

Good point. It just doesn't sound the same if you say a person is a "bull in a Thai shop" or a "bull in a Filipino shop".

Here in Detroit the food is GREAT . Chinese is my favorite

. I ordered a Jets Detroit pizza the other night. They had a great set up.

You call , put it on your charge card. When you get there you call them and they put it on a card table right in front of the door

(You can't get in because it blocks the door ) They walk away you open the door get your food and leave. EASY !

They could do the same at my favorite Chinese but they don't.
