Most of the message of Jesus can be summarized by "I know I can't put it quite so clearly, but forget what'll soon be called the Old Testament - instead, just love one another." Such a teaching is anathema to the legalistic, hypocritical, ultra-intolerant Union of Modern-Day Scribes, Pharisees and Stone-Throwers - the Watchtower Society of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

If they had delayed or dillydallied and had been complacent with the idea the end was some thousands of years off they would never have finished running the race set before them. The Watchtower actually takes on the role of THE APOSTLE PAUL - who was FAR more important (to them) than that loser Jesus, and whose words are to be taken with extreme seriousness.

Of course, the Watchtower has willingly usurped the role of that pervert "Jehooooo-Bah", the God of the Child-Molesters and of the F iend Class too.

Introspection - this is a picture of what forensic archeologists believe Jesus really looked like, based on the finding of a skull from very close to the time when Jesus lived from the place he lived. It is also based on artwork of that period and records of how people looked. Its a far cry from what most renditions of Jesus look like which are mostly Eastern European in nature and source. There was a Discovery Channel special at Easter about Jesus life/history/and the bible accounts that was VERY interesting. Really put a whole new perspective on things. It did include interestingly, that the Romans DID use "stauros", trees, to hang people in Jesus day...as they were hanging so many that they would just use the olive trees along the roads. So...the WTS was right about that, but they USED CROSS BEAMS...and there is NO denying that. I suppose in the minds of the WTS to have SOME of the truth is good enough..who needs ALL of the truth when it's gonna bring you right back to wherever everybody ELSE has been for 2 millenia?
