Give them all a fake address somewhere in Tel Aviv. That way, the hounders will all make that trip so they can round up who they think are those that are breaking the rules. Some could use fake addresses in Mea Shearim. Have fun with that. Bonus: It will make it that much easier if they wish to go on that Israel mission this spring.

Asking for an address might be acceptable as access is supposed to be only for authorized people. They also might need an address to facilitate regular donations.

Request to allow WT to make changes is a bit strange as I would never allow any organisation (nor my employer) to make changes to my personal details. I guess it has to do with "demotions" i.e. from elder back to servant or to nothing.

Send that info to the ICO, Information Commissioners Office, bit about branch being able to change things concerns me

Data protection managed by ICO and as WaT hates giving authorities its files, having ICO poking around will inconvenience them

No Carla but to access all the admin stuff you need an account which will be then approved by the domain administrators in the congregation.

@ttdtt Again your congregation domain administrators assign you the admin stuff you can see. Elders have access to most things whilst servants will only access the literature admin if they work in that department.

If you have admin access, then click the Admin tab. If you still don't see it, then maybe it's just a weird requirement here in Spain to do with the LOPD (Ley orgánica de protección de datos.)

UPDATE: A new letter just got sent out today "explaining" the changes. Keep your eyes peeled on avoidjw.org for a copy of the official letter. In the meantime, here's what they say:

Re: Personal Addresses and Adjustments to Coordinator of the Body of Elders or Secretary

Dear Brothers:

We are pleased to inform you of two features that are now available on jw.org.

Managing Personal Addresses: Most jw.org users who have been added to the jw.org congregation domain can now manage their personal address information using the “My User Profile” link under the “My Preferences” section of the “Administration” tab. Each user’s profile includes a “My Personal Addresses” section with a link that allows him to enter or update his addresses. For more information on how to use this feature, click on “Help.” Please note that addresses for some jw.org users are maintained by the branch office and cannot be edited online.

Informing the Service Department of a Change in Coordinator of the Body of Elders or Secretary: An online version of the Coordinator of the Body of Elders/Secretary Change of Address (S-29) form can now be accessed by elders who have been assigned the “Enter Member Information” role. This feature can be found using the “Elders and Servants” link under the “Members” section of the “Congregation” tab. When this feature is used, it is not necessary to send a printed or PDF version of the S-29 form to the Service Department. For more information on how to use this feature, click on “Help.”
