On top of everything else today, my dishwasher broke down. It won't pump out the water. I can't get a repair until Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!! It is only six months old too.

Now I have to wash dishes,.................I am so spoiled, aren't I?

Just had to complain a bit.

    <<based on a different thread>> but I can't resist

Now Mulan you just gotta know it broke because you are no longer in Jehovah's favor by not going to meetings and going door to door. If you had just prayed more the machine would not have broken down. Better yet if you had been at the meeting today instead of being at home trying to wash dishes the machine would not have broken

<<this all said from someone who doesn't have a dishwasher but IS the dishwasher>>

Be grateful - instead of washing dishes you could be at a meeting

Very good! I needed an attitude adjustment.

I know! Have Joe wash 'em while he's there.

Maybe one of the elders who is coming to visit will show how loving he is by fixing it for you, instead of giving you a "shepherding" call, and not charge you for his labour.

It should still be under warranty if you've only had it six months. I'd be looking for a replacement from the manufacturer instead of a repair.... but that's just me...

    my dishwasher broke down.

Mulan, I thought you meant your husband. My hubbie washes the dishes.

If he could post here, he would look at your hands and say it is a sign, a sign of dishpans in your future.

This is why God created paper plates and plastic cutlery.

I know the feeling. Its like having a nightmare!!!!

Like when the washing machine decides to break down and you have a pile of laundry ggrrrhh.

I agree with the paper plates....hehehehe

Or just eat out - saves all the problems then.

ps. I hope the elders visit goes ok - why do men tell us women to be 'quiet' - we should be allowed some fun from time to time...LOL

    Have fun and take care.

    Mulan,

Since the "Boys" are visiting this afternoon, at least make sure the toilets are working. You don't have to dirty more dishes this afternoon but you will have to deal with a lot of ccccccrrrrrrr********pppppp.

Surreptitious!! It's good to see you around here again! I've missed your wit.

Sorry about the dishwasher, Mulan. I'm spoiled with mine, too. Prune hands are the worst.
