  For a JW this is, of course, right on the button. However, I commend SoJ for one thing - and that's for having, let's face it, some kind of self opinion in that he posts here. He knows it is COMPLETELY FROWNED upon by the Borg and, indeed, he is associating with apostates and, therefore, he should seriously consider ceasing to come here altogether or fade/disassociate himself or be disfellowshipped. As Watchtower supposedly speaks for Jehovah and Jehovah's eyes are everywhere, then by virtue of the fact that he and Scoobysnax continue to troll this board means that they will be immediately cut off at Armageddon. To ignore Watchtower counsel is to ignore Jehovah and one must face the consequences!

  Beautifully stated Dansk. Watchtower apologists sicken me and it is particularly amusing to watch them squirm or make excuses when presented with concrete facts ironically often provided by the Watchtower Society's own literature.

  You forget mee my friends, I think I am one of the only real JW here, even if I unusal, I now have a bigg fight in my cong to try to balanse the wuie in this terribel chilsabuse things.

  I am not so bigg as HS was, but elder fore 20 year is not so bad, hounetsy is my goal, and I never give upp this, 1975 i have the same fight, and how was right, I think we see the same outcome now, so 5 year from now this peopel how now shout about lies, have much less voice 5 years from now.

  In our assambley they say what wrong we was about 1975, and this was the main man from bhetel, i think if we go inn the future we will hear, how wrong we have in this child abuse thing.

  I think SwordOfJah could learn much from a person like yourself who is an active Jehovah's Witness but does not get attacked for being one. I hope that he reads this post. It should make him wonder what is different in the way that you approach this Board and the way that he does and why you are not opposed and he is. I have never heard you speak one word of insult to persons on this Board even though you may disagree with the views held by many. I have certainly never heard you call posters to this Board 'fools' and 'wicked' in their thinking.

  In short I admire you for the honest and mature way that you have approached these often inflammatory matters while trying to sort out your own position on them.

  I agree, but I must also say: In my nearly 40 years as a baptized JW it was my WTS-inbred nature to do exactly that--ridicule those who didn't fit into my/our way of thinking. It's only as I am now breaking free from that conditioning that I find myself more and more willing to tolerate, and even accept, divergent opinions.

  I also would like to see more JWs engaged with us in this forum, in healthy and productive debate. However, the "productive" part of debate requires that all parties involved be willing to concede a point when that point is demonstrably valid. What I've generally seen, and (quite honestly, expect to see) is that JWs can not, or will not, concede and grow. It's against the very nature of their religion.
