Hi...nice to meet ya
thanks for commenting.
Hello and welcome thereishope:-) I'm in the same boat as you. My husband is still a believer and I know ttatt. I think you are on the right track in connecting with non JW friends. In my experience, making non-witness friends who are sympathetic to my situation has been so helpful and personally fulfilling. I recommend it! Look forward to hearing more from you!

Just a brainstorm idea:
Why don't you try some volunteering for a good cause?
By doing that you might find some new friends and your husband sees, that you do something positive for others / community / environment, instead of knocking on doors.
Welcome to the board,
Well done for starting a thread. Hopefully your mind has been set to rest and you don't feel stressed any more. what you need to do now is make a plan for the future and how you're going to proceed. Think about what is best for you and your husband.
You need to have a plan though, as at the moment you're just in limbo.

#1 Be sure to clear your computer history, or only search these sites in "anonymous" or "confidential" mode.
#2 As your spiritual head, your husband should help you to understand the issues/doubts that you are having. Tactfully ask him the question that is "troubling you" and then STFU and leave it to him research and respond.
Examples might be:
"How do we prove scripturally that Jesus appointed the WTS/JWs in 1919?"
"That brother was in an ongoing affair at the time he was appointed as MS/Elder. How can the Holy Spirit be directing such things if a mistake like that happens?"
"How did kangaroos get to Australia from Mr. Ararat? Swim? Why is there no evidence of them living/dying anywhere else between the two places?"
"Why did Jehovah direct the FDS to make false statements about when the system would end, such as 1925 and 1975 and before the end of the 20th Century?"
DO NOT argue the case. Just ask questions and wait for his proof.
In the meantime, assuming this is the man you want to live with for the rest of your life, be kind, loving, helpful, and the "perfect" marriage mate.
Good luck,
Doc
The greatest revenge is living a happy & successful life!
Just another angle you might get your husband look at with all the flip flops. Why would jehovah deliberately give false / ambiguous / misleading information with the idea of it been clarified at a latter date with new light.
Well said DoC and Joe
THE FACT: You FEAR anything from doing research is mindboggling isn't it? Labeled and gossiped about for doing research on true history.
I mean really, How can you research what truths are real and what are not?
The bible itself states that one must test things to make sure that they're true.
They lost me at "Lying for the TRUTHtm"
Didn't they lose you yet?
Sorry, Im always killing posts
