My time is my own. When I was in the religion I felt like it was another job!
It's great to sleep in on weekends and not go out on weeknights. It's great not to concern myself about the opinions of people who mean nothing to me. It's great to be myself again and remember what it was like before I took a detour into the JW religion.
After reading all the threads about what the Witness religion has turned into in recent years, I'm glad I'm not there. It is a sublime pleasure to not deal with this anymore.

I stop the cigars in the last two years but it was a simple pleasures I enjoyed at the time. I go to a men's group every third Thursday of the month and sometimes I remember what I use to do all my life on Thursday. Then I just shake my head and smile because of how much I have changed. Every afternoon around 4:30 my wife and I have a cup of coffee and tea on our front porch and just relax and talk not having to worry about going any where. During this summer on Saturday we have been going to all the local farmers markets. Just because we can. Still Totally ADD
