ONE major class action lawsuit for anyone who has lost a loved one over the "no blood" doctrine (probably amounts to tens of thousands of victims over the years) would sink the JW cult real fast. And here's to hoping they lose their "charity tax exempt status" in the UK and 501.3.c statute in the US. I can see it now! "Breaking News! All 7 leaders of the JW cult have been seen leaving on private planes to Ecuador, Russia and Laos. Looting and riots reported at JW cult HQ in Warwick NY."

Religious abstention policy would come in effect with cases such as shunning and blood issue. A Church cannot be held responsible for what has said if it is in the promotion of their truly held religious beliefs.

I hope Lloyd is right. These WT cockroaches need to have the light shone on them as long and as often as possible, yeah, the've been pretty good at scuttling back under their fridge at the first sign of trouble but at least people will know they're there and they're disgusting.

Whether anyone wins money or not, these lawsuits bring attention to the disgusting cult that is Jehovah's Witnesses, and it helps others to avoid falling prey to them.

Most of the cases that Watchtower figures to lose it settles, as in the recent Fessler case. For you to say "name a case where a jury found that Watchtower was liable..." is extremely disingenuous. Watchtower learned a hard lesson in the Conti case and most cases where a jury would have found in favor of the plantiff will now be settled by the WTS because it saves public exposure and humiliation. -

Again name one case. I can name a whole string of cases that Watchtower won on summary judgment. And just as you say that Watchtower feared to lose the person who accepts the settlement may have feared to lose too. In the Conti case, in fact, it was a victory for watchtower. It showed that Watchtower did not have a duty to warn or a duty to protect.

Please explain how Watchtower did not benefit from the appeals ruling. Yes they lost 2.8 million but the court ruled that there is no duty to protect or duty to warn.
