  I say that because it works for both the people doing field service and the watchtower

  for the people its easier standing than having to walk and you can have a chat with other jws as well

  For the watchtower they tell the drones that the general public must make the first move(to stop the general public complaining about being pestered) but in doing so it means that they are not giving many magazines etc away but that suits the watchtower because magazines and even single page trats cost money and that seems to be one thing that the watchtower dont have

  Yes I think you right pepperheart. What could be better for a JW in the spring, summer and autumn to be sitting on a bench next to a cart and have a good catch up with your friend, and at the same time count time.

  I have also wondered if it has made the R&F carter's more susceptible to been targeted by people with opposing views e.g TTATT. It's also a lot harder to get away from a negative situation in a public setting rather with a notation on the DNC on a H2H record.

  It certainly worked for me. When I asked an elder at a trolley if the Catholic confessional was right or wrong, he said it was wrong, and explained how men could not forgive sins.

  I then turned to his younger M.S. companion and said that if he got caught committing a serious sin, he would have to confess his sin to the elders, and face disciplinary action via a Judicial Committee. These three men would decide whether to extend forgiveness - only if he "showed sufficient repentance!" If the Catholic church's practice of voluntarily confessing to one priest is unscriptural, why are J.W.'s compelled to confess their serious sins to three elders?

  The elder mumbled something about it being "an organizational provision to keep the congregation clean." (nothing to do with the Bible then?)

  The look on the M.S.'s face was priceless! Long may the trollies continue.

  I sometimes say 'hello' to them if they don't recognise me and shun me. It just seems the kind thing to do. I was them once, I have sympathy for the brainwashed sheeple. Anyway, in a 100 years time, we'll all be dust and it won't have mattered.

  I do believe the trolleys are the best idea yet because nobody really comes up to them. They set one up outside my office area and I watched all day as not a single person came to take literature. A few people stopped, looked at the titles and artwork and realized it was cult literature and kept on walking.

  Trolley literature carts = easy hours, particularly if you place the cart close to a Starbucks

  it really is amazing to think they actually believe that the best plan the creator of the entire universe has come up with to warn people, is to commission a few jdubs to stand by a cart with magazines, in very busy areas, why people zoom by going about their business.
