    "Oh, but I am still around. I have just been so busy. I am doing all I can for Jehovah and it is paying off. I am happy to report that I am now approved for cart witnessing. Perhaps some off us will meet in person? I look forward to that. Thanks for welcoming me to this site, as now I can compare what I know with what I read here."

    @JTrottigy,

    Do you claim to be the same JTrottigy from JWTalk?

    Just do yourself a favor and keep studying JTrottigy. Most here are considered apostates but I can guarantee you one thing we studied more then most of not all active JWs, that’s why we’re here. As you can tell I choose the name Crazyguy, I did so because most of my congregation probably believe I’m crazy. But here’s a fact , I wrote a 14 page letter outlining how what the GB teach about ‘who jesus is the mediator for’ and how it’s wrong and not only could not my elders prove me wrong but neither could the WT for their letter response was just a “we believe believe and if we change will publish it” lame response.

    I did the same thing with their blood death policy and again could not be proven wrong. So please do your do diligence, not for us but for you.

    Yes! A warm welcome to JTroll. . . er. . um JTrottigy. . . ..

    Here's all I ask of you:

    Right now, ask to meet with the elders who "approved" your cart witnessing "privilege." Tell them that you are active on this site and show them all of the threads you've posted on so far.

    Let us know how that goes for you. . . .

    Congrats, JTrottigy, you should do a lot of research here because apostates are known to target the carts and try to rattle JWs.

    Welcome to the site. Here you'll find something you won't find among Jehovah's Witnesses: the freedom to doubt, to question, to debate. Unlike you guys, we don't disfellowship anybody.

    "...I am now approved for cart witnessing"- I really don't get why someone need to be 'approved' to stand around a cart and have people walk by and ignore you. On the other hand if you don't go into fs you get in trouble, or rather I should say you will be judged as weak or less than.

    Matthew 6:1 comes to my mind-

    New International Version
    "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

    New Living Translation
    "Watch out! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven.

    English Standard Version
    “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

    I suspect they need approval because they're less supervised when they cart witness, and this means that someone could more easily anti-witness or even just advocate some other form of Christianity. Unlike in field service where you're with a group, it's just two of them typically. They're more 'vulnerable' and thus the Elders need to know they can stand up to such pressures.
