Some very good games so far. Also, because the VAR technology is in its infancy in soccer, it's not only highlighting nasty practices by players, but also very poor refereeing decisions. Thankfully, the Egyptian referee in England's game had the courage to clamp down on the assaults within the penalty area.
Soccer's VAR will eventually have to reach the same high standards which rugby has achieved.

As to the V.A.R technology this needs to be used post game to issue Yellow Cards. If Players knew whilst playing that their dirty, unsportsmanlike play would result in their missing the next Game it would put a restraint on it.

It's a great tournament so far, good to see a fresh England team with the dead-weight finally dropped doing so well. Cap the people who are playing well, don't take people with broken feet (Rooney, sheesh).
Of course the Germans get through at the last minute and will end up winning the entire thing but the matches and refereeing are good.

I don't have a TV licence but I've been following the results.
Harry Kane - what a player (Spurs ). Going for the golden boot.
Of course the Germans get through at the last minute and will end up winning the entire thing - not sure about this - Germany vs South Korea is currently a goalless draw and Sweden are leading Mexico 1-0.
As it stands, Germany are going out. XD
