Often. At assembly time, right after lunch, most definitely need a brief nap. Sometimes I discretely go to my vehicle, and sometimes right there at my seat with dark glasses on.

    Sorry, cannot help it.🙃

How can anyone sleep with such riveting speakers as Rubberface Lett, Sneering Anthony Morris, or Marblemouth Herd?

And when Sanderson is speaking, I'm silently figuring out the launch angle his jacket button would need to reach the first row when it finally bursts away from his bulging midriff.

Well, they were boring as hell so yes, in fact, I'm pretty sure every member of my family (including my parents) fell asleep at least once at each convention.

The real question should be, has anyone ever NOT fallen asleep at a meeting, or convention, lol.

Personally, I never fell asleep at the Kingdum hall, but absolutely have at assemblies. How can you not fall asleep at assemblies? Contrary to what everybody LIES about every latest assembly being "The BEST assembly EVER", they are really BORING as shit. Sitting ANYWHERE for 8 hours, will, and does, make anyone sleepy. It is either a fight to stay awake, or dozing off.

I have a friend, who is still one of my oldest friends, who grew up with me in the "truth". He must have known it was all bullshit, younger than me, cause he would fall asleep EVERY meeting. I did not have that luxury as my Dad was an Elder. My buddy, however, he was lucky enough to fall asleep, like clock work, after the opening song, or prayer, and wake up, like clock work, as soon as the closing song would end. Him, and sometimes his younger brother, did it EVERY meeting, lol

He was known as the "kid who sleeps at the meetings". Whats even funnier, is he had a bunch of brothers and sisters, so they didn't always have a full row available for them all to sit together. So, many times, they would have to sit in the very front row, as it was the only full open row. He would be sleeping away, snoring, right in front of the visiting Sunday speaker. It was great. The beauty about it was that he knew he did it too, and never played dumb, or even tried to fight it, lol.

Does a fish swim in the sea?

I drooled on my briefcase relentlessly as a teenager. The sleepy and discreet slave.

LOL the question should be "Did you ever Stay Awake at the meetings or assemblies?"

I had such a hard time especially at assemblies because they were so dreadfully boring. Same crap said slightly different to make you think it's new.

Yes all te time at conventions or asemblies fell asleep. One time my father fell asleep... he always did... and woke up with a start screaming...lol... a bad dream I guess. ..However in Kingdom Halls it was bad. I rmember just before I learned god wasnèt real falling asleep in the TMS hearing about how Joshuas slaughtered Canaan.. In my dream Joshua had a spear and was coming right at me ... I woke up with a start and threw my bible in between my chair and the speakers stand... I recovered it quietly as they switched speakers...

HowTheBibleWasCreated:"your dad woke up screaming". I was afraid to fall asleep, in Dodger stadium seated in the upper level could be very embarrassing..Can you envision waking up out of a bad dream staring at the next level down and screaming, Oh sh--t. I also was afraid of passing gas, drooling on my polyester suit (polyester don't absorb slobber well) or talking in my sleep (this organization is BS).
