Pretty much any and all homophobic stuff coming from teh WTS originates with Morris - at least that is the impression I get.
As the poster noted above, I think he doth protest too much.

As a gay man, I don't find anything wrong with this. It is their view that gay people cannot be a witnesses, but they don't harass gay people or actively fight against gay causes. They accept that people will be gay and if they want to practice it that is their right, but it is also their right to associate with who they want too or not.
Would they still respect her if she started coming to meetings with her wife?
IDK, are they down for a secret threesome?
@FedUpJW, all joking aside, I do wonder how the elders would approach a gay married couple. If any manipulation is used with even a hint of intent to break them up, that'll be one hell of a lawsuit.
"As a gay man, I don't find anything wrong with this."
Richard Oliver, you wouldn't. You are turning out to be quite a JW organization apologist. What a shame you do not see fit to fellowship with them and put your money where your mouth is.
As a gay man, I find everything wrong with JW organization's stand. But I also accept that religious groups are entitled to their belief systems.
BTW, you overstate a point Richard Oliver: Contrary to what you assert, gay people can become - and in fact are - Witnesses. The key is they are celibate - or are married to someone of the opposite sex.

No, that is misleading.
They claim being gay is a choice and a sin and it is wrong to practice it.
They are certainly not one of the "cool with it" religions.

I agree with the latter, but surely most gay JWs are there because they are born in? I can't imagine many gay people choosing to join the JWs (or any other "gay-is-sinful" religion) unless they have some self-loathing issue.
Makes me think of a black person wanting to join the KKK ...
