Okay, teenyuck, I just can't bear to see this topic die without a response I STILL have all my own teeth at the ripe old age of 34 even though I don't floss every day. Maybe twice a week. But I do brush at least twice a day. I do have dental insurance, so I get my teeth cleaned twice a year for free. I had braces when I was a kid so my teeth are nice and straight too. In fact, I look like this .....

RAYZORBLADE
Take it from dentally challenged Rayzorblade: brush and floss often.
If you don't, you'll end up like me - minus many molars/bicuspids and it takes you a long time to complete your meal. You start ahead of everyone, and they finish first.
Besides, your breath will smell better and good dental hygiene usually reflects general good hygiene.
No More HOCKEY TEETH!

Eeeeeeeewwwwww...what a thread this is.
Brushing and flossing are a part of my daily routine. But may I ask, why would anyone but my dentist care?

I brush and floss twice a day like it was a religion. I've got all my own teeth and I'm over 60. It does pay off in the long run to take care of your choppers when you're young 'cause the cost of dental work today is astronomical.
I have no dental insurance so every visit to the dentist hurts my pocketbook like pulling teeth!

Good Gawd, what a question... lol
Brush, at least three times a day
Floss, once a day
Rinse with Lysterine, once to twice a day
Brushing my teeth is a habit of me, before I leave my house, I will brush my teeth, after I eat something, I brush my teeth.... And dental hygene is important also cuz I have a tonguepiercing
I see a dentist twice a year for check up [that is, unless I forget my appointments]

I brush my teeth 3 times a day after each meal, and I floss every 2 days.
