Wow, Soledad, thanks for the jewelry pictures ! And thanks to all of you for your advice. I truly appreciate it.
Actually, I look best in black. Anyone ever read "Color Me Beautiful"? I'm what the author calls a True Winter. So, I should wear mostly brilliant colors (black included) such as blood red, fuschia, emerald, sapphire.
Thanks again Off to ebay too look again

If your looking to knock him out, you gotta go with the sixth one from the top, very nice.

If you want to emphasise your bust, # 2 (the dark blue one with drapes at the bustline) is the one to go. I also like the one with the roses on the side, and the other dark blue ones look nice too. The one that is half white/half blue would go well for a formal wedding. Hey, I just like blue!
I have similar colouring to you, and I tend to go for dark blues/greens/black for formal wear. I look good in cherry/blood red, which is good if you want to stand out in the photos.
Be sure to let us know which dress you end up wearing to the wedding!

U- ALL- R - SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just messing, you remind me of my wife, she loves clothes and for all the years in wt she could not talk about it without being accused of being materialistic and i was thinking if this was done in the hall the first thing that would be said is:
"Sister be content with sustance and covering"o how wonderful it is to be free
girl my suggestion is:---- TAKE ALL TO THEM TO THE WEDDING AND CHANGE 4 OR 5 TIMES LIKE CHER-- SMILE

Hi beryl:
I like this one:
With the set of pearls shown here it would be a stand-out! And, because the dress is simple in design, you can wear an ivory or pale color shawl with it to dress it up. If you are going to a reception, it gets mighty hot in there sometimes dancing and all....so I like to go with the sleeveless dresses.
Just a note on wearing black at weddings......we just threw a large wedding for my daughter and new son-in-law. His mother wore a long BLACK dress to the outdoor ceremony......looked like she was going to a funeral. That's ok, that family didn't want the marriage to happen anyhow, so I guess this was their way of saying it in public. What a bunch of losers! Black might work on some, but not on her. In my opinion, black is ok to wear as long as you accent it with a bright color somewhere.....total black is very depressing if you are in the wedding party.
Wedding are so much fun! Have a good time.
