honey! PLEASE don't go! I know how frustrating computer problems can be, but please don't give up. Maybe one of those nice young gentlemen who live in Toronto will fix things up for you.

I hope someone who is near Grace reads this - it sounds to me like maybe the mouse is not working very well. That's an easy problem to solve, just take the ball out of the bottom of the mouse, clean it with alcohol or nail polish remover, then clean the rollers inside the mouse that the ball sits against with a cotton swab diped in the same solvent. Allow it to dry for a few minutes and re-assemble the mouse.
A more permanent solution is to replace the mechanical mouse with an optical mouse. That's what I did, and it is much more reliable.
Would somebody please pay Grace a visit and help her?

Have a go with what Nathan suggested - cleaning the mouse. If this doesn't work then I'd be happy to arrange to remote onto your PC and have a look at things to try and fix them if you need.
