The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society uses its Governing Body to force Jehovah's Witnesses to accept their flip-flop beliefs and doctrines. Their history of conflicting false teachings and practices have left members in confusion.

In this video, David Splane blames Jehovah God for all the changing doctrines. "Jehovah is driving the chariot."

He goes on to say that the Governing Body has a hard time following the Celestial Chariot just like all its members. The Governing Body always tries making new adjustments just to keep up with Jehovah's ''new light.''

David Slane also had the privilege of explaining the confusing and made-up, '' Overlapping Generation'' teaching. ( and you thought learning Japanese algebra was difficult)

There's a part of me that believes he actually believes that, that he thinks he's following the will of some celestial being, and there's another part of me that thinks he's just passing the buck, Don't blame us guys, we're just doing what God wants. What do other posters think?

Yes..or kicking the can down the road!

If you kick the can down the road, you delay a decision in hopes that the problem or issue will go away or somebody else will make the decision later.

I wonder if Jesus had a similar chart in front of him and a pointer in his hand when he was talking to his disciples about "this generation"...

I think whoever rides that seat on top of that chariot with the "wheels in wheels" going off at 90 degrees needs a military grade seat and shoulder harness , and an ejector mechanism

Can not imagine the serene, all time creator being jerked around tied to anything that the erratic wt writing department portrays, the "( will have been tied in heaven)" passage notwithstanding.

That passage paints god in a passive role, with the GB doing the tying, trying, steering, tacking of HMS wtbts.

    fit to be tied.

The WTS has made it their endeavor to exploit people's ignorance of what the bible really says and furthermore what Jesus actually said in preaching his Gospel.

No reason to change that endeavor when knowing it works and its effective in alluring people to the organization and sustaining "Beliefs" and a lot more important reasons not to change, relating to their power and sustenance.

The WTS will remain an act of false prophesying apostasy influenced and propagated by the activity of literature publishing and distribution..

I wonder why Splane & Associates haven’t considered that Joe Hoover is no longer blessing them because of their many secret sins (such as shielding child abusers)?

In the 1940s/50s/60s JWs won 49 of 50 cases in US Courts. They claimed that was evidence if Joe Hoover’s blessing.

In the last 10/20 years they have lost or settled (at least) dozens of lawsuits for shielding abusers. Why have they (evidently) lost his blessing?

It doesn't really matter who's driving the celestial chariot because in the end, Jehovah always agrees with whatever they come up with and there's always a bible passage or two that can be tweaked to back them up.

The following are things they said would never happen, as it would be a sign of loosing Jehovahs blessing:

They've had to ask for money

Numbers are stagnating or going down.

They've lost upteen court cases recently.
