I believe RR was upset about the recent trashing of C.T.Russell, the one RR holds up high. There have been a few posts recently that depicted Russell in a not so elegant manner. The Bible Students have no tolerance for people who attack their idol C.T.R. They will go as far as ban the likes of those from their forums. Any information posted on the BS forums proving the false predictions and pure nonsense Russell taught are usually removed or the individual is soon to be banned. Most BS are in as much a mindset when it comes to their faith as the JWs.

Just for the record 'Scorp' .... I'm not leaving because of YOUR CTR trashing, I'm leaving because the threads here are spiraled downhill, that and the fact that I have a few projects to finish, particularly a history book that I waws commissioned to write and had put on the shelf only after a few chapters.

So talk all you want about Russell ....

Could it just all be, man's attempt to justify the god he has created
in his own image. Life lives in us, it does not need to reach us, it is here
and so are we.

Understanding is not a relgious experience but the realization
that there is nothing to realize. The celebration and appreciation of life, is in
itself, a tribute to the existence of a greater power. Words and descriptions
are redundant, they limit the meaning of life to the conscious mind and miss
the infinite. God is infinite - God could never be fully demonstrated in the
short life of one man.

I am sure that the Russell bashing also has something to do with your leaving. If you had not noticed, I did not bash Russell or speak harshly of him in any of the posts. I do think much of what he taught, especially the 1874-1914 predictions was non-sense as well as some other things he wrote.

I am sure Sherlock, Regan, Alan and the others are looking forward to the completion of your history book.
