  You probably don't hear this enough Simon and Angharad, but thank you both for all your hard work. As I understand it, Simon wrote the entire software for this new board. Speaking as someone who has trouble putting something in quotes, I am thoroughly impressed. To me, computers and the Internet are a dark and mysterious place, much like algebra: I don't understand it. I just accept that it exists. I can't imagine how much time effort and money this type of project takes and there has to be days when you both just want to pull your hair out from frustration. Just know this board has done a lot of good for a lot of people.

  Wherever Nina and I go with our lives, this time period will have a special place in our hearts and that is due in large part to this discussion board and the people we have met and befriended here. You two have created something special here and you should feel very good about your efforts. So for all the annoyances, irritations and late nights, I would like to say:

  Simon just emailed me today about the problems... he is going to try to fix it this weekend, if anyone is still concerned. He certainly does work his butt off for free for us! And his wifey!

  Uhh, Simon does'nt have to do it for free, you can donate, & w/ as much as we save from not putting $$$ in the friggerty contribution box, I suggest we all put in at least a dollar a mo. I will also post this on it's own thread.

  Although I wonder if maybe, just once-in-a-while, Ang kicks Simon off to his room to work on the board, so she and the kids can get a little peace and quiet

  Thanks everyone for you kind comments, but its really Simon that does all the work, I just help to monitor the board and run and tell him when I'm not brave enough to wade in on the rare occasions something kicks off Although I do lose it occasionally

  It makes everything worthwhile when we hear how it has helped people

  Also a big thank you to all the moderators who help to monitor things, we would never get any sleep if it wasnt for you.

  Yes, my missus and the moderators do a great job and really do a lot to keep the site running.

  Without doing the software myself, I don't think I could have kept the site running and get so big at the same time. I think there is some value to the exJW community having a large community base and I hope this site or whatever follows it fulfill an important role.

  It is hard work sometimes and as you may have guessed, sometimes I kind of "loose interest" for a while and then pick up again on the coding and finishing off features. Lately I've had to take a break form things as work pressures demanded my time. This is why the profile editing / updating took so long to get finished (much longer than I intended)

  I have many, many ideas that I want to implement to make the site better and more fun so I hope you'll all bear with me while I work on things.

  One thing I really need to do though is apologise for not responding to all emails ! Sometimes I really do get snowed under and I really do need to devote time to work. I try and respond to all I can an am trying to get better organised with email and stuff.
