They seem to be leaning into the idea of short, sparse beards. I don't think they'll be taking many pictures of JW men in the Midwest or southern USA.

There is an image of the new system in the January 2025 Watchtower with clean shaven brothers. So the June 2025 Watchtower may be the first depiction of a beard on a member of the great crowd in the new system.

Scrap that, there’s a picture of a father in the new system with a beard on the very next page of the January 2025 Watchtower. Don’t know if that’s the earliest. I can’t post the picture because I think we’re limited to one picture a day on here.

There’s a black brother in the new system with a discreet beard with has face pointing the other way on page 10 of the November 2024 Watchtower.

So, SBF, does that mean that the resurrected OT prophets who used to be portrayed with "indiscreet" beards in the New Order will have to learn to be discreet in the current publications?

Ah, good question. I wasn’t looking out for that but I don’t think I came across any patriarch-in-the-new-system pictures. There were a few in their OT setting with big beards as ever, but pictures of OT figures in the new system are not as common in any case.

When was the announcement on beards made?

From what I can find it was December 2023.

So the image in the January 2024 Watchtower is in a publication that is dated after the announcement, but it would have been released before the announcement, and probably produced by the artist some time before that.

But I love the idea of a bearded patriarch being resurrected to Norway for light refreshments and a Bible Study on a balcony overlooking a fjord. 🥖 🥤 🏔️

So according to scripture women should not wear clothing of male, must have long hair - her glory.....so are we dressed in long, white dresses, or can we look shiek in a nice two piece while working to build the house? Take care of the flocks, gardening? Or will all females be changed to males as org stated many years ago - or is that just in heaven?

I like the recent indication they did not now what they were talking about (since we should not speculate) that 'ONLY JEHOVAH KNOWS'. This was from the GB2.
