Are we in a computer simulation?

The videos didn't mention Jesus. They argued that reality is dependent on observation and consciousness rather than matter in itself. Is there a real atheist response to this?

Don't be so disingenuous. The author of the video is a god-botherer, look at his channel. He is also begging for money if you want to help his campaign to spread superstition. If he can find enough suckers he wants to make Jesus videos full-time.

Is there a real atheist response to this?

Yes. Somewhere between skepticism and contempt.

I have no idea. I listened to the argument on its own. It made good points. It didn't make me believe in Jesus, who may not have existed, for what it is worth,

Was looking forward to actual critique of argument. Should have known better.

I think we can safely say that if we are in a simulation universe hologram that the entity or entities that made it or what ever made it does not need to be worshiped or believed in.

Jehovah and other deities like him narcissistically need to have their asses kissed and constantly told by their faithful worshipers how great and good they are or else they are toast.

Anything but discuss the actual argument.

Not exactly an analytical response from Dawkins there. Atheists seems to have real difficultly with the simulation argument, just laugh it off, or change the subject.

Is there any evidence to suggest that a simulation of a brain could create consciousness? If not - the point is moot.
