SP...men sometimes miss those small details....
I left because they gave me no choice. They wanted to me to be something I wasn't: IE: heterosexual
Now I have many more reasons to add to that- at the top of which is that THERE IS NO TRUE RELIGION!!!
After I realized Jehovah wasn't solving my problems, I decided it was a load of bullshit. Unfortunately I had to wait until I was 18 to leave.
You can't put your burden on someone else and expect them to take care of it. You have to learn how to deal with it yourself.
For me, well...no surprise if you've been following me for the last few months.
Similar to Leddfootdja: could not live the lie
So, I had enough, said 'to hell with it' and left.
Wasn't an easy transition, but it got better over time.
Stinky-
No. Your picture looks the same to me. A cartoon rendition of an African-American female with glasses on.

I'll have to second that. Very nice pic.
I left for a variety of reasons too:
1. For Love
2. Because I couldn't stand the hypocrisy anymore
3. Because I couldn't stand the idea of spreading the hypocrisy to more innocent people out in service and ruining their lives and their relationships with their families
4. Because I just didn't believe any of it anymore, and
5. To have more sex!
I left for 1) Love (still married to him - that cute man!).....and 2) I couldn't live under the totalitarian rule any longer. It was oppressive and I wanted to be free.
