I regret nothing. You cannot focus on the past, you have to look into the future.

If a person doesn't regret anything they've done in the past, then the future will "regrettably" be filled with mistakes.

    What's that song........."regrets I've made a few...."

Well, I have made plenty, and the longer I live the more I can remember. Nobody gets through life unscathed. Every human being ever born has made mistakes in life. Anybody who tells you different, has never really lived life to the fullest. I regret decisions that I have made in my life that have hurt others, these are the regrets that are hard to reconcile with. But, you can not turn back the hands of time, so I try not to wallow in it too much.

I live my life with no regrets. All mistakes I have made I do not regret as I have learned something from them. Like Nosferatu said you have to look to the future or rather my little addendum....live in the present and enjoy it for it is a gift.

None of you have the time or space to listen to all my mistakes. !!! But I just hope that saying the Christians have is true(" The LORD took all my sins & threw them in to the sea & put up a sign NO FISHING!!!")

I agree with Mrs. Shakita. Not regretting anything doesn't necessarily mean that you don't learn from your mistakes. If you realize the mistakes you made, and learn how to prevent them from happening again, the mistake you've made have actually benefitted you. Therefore, the mistakes you made were actually a good thing.

If you spend your time dwelling on the past, you're never going to move ahead into the future.

Also, if you keep a positive attitude about everything, it will benefit you as a person, and people will start to look up to you as a wise person.

I regret making a bad decision and thereby losing the love of my life, Susan McGraw, 26 years ago. It was all my fault, none of hers. And I will take that regret to my grave.

Shakita - That song you make reference to is Frank Sinatra's "My Way" written by Paul Anka.

I do have regrets, but since my choices and actions made me the person I am today, and got me where I am now (and I pretty much like where I am), I'd be afraid to change anything.

    ...edit...

Except I wish I'd spent more time with my grandma and grandpa when I was grown up.

Regrets, sheesh could you have picked a happier topic. Alot of regrets, the biggest...Well there I was at the proverbial fork in the road trying to decide if I should take my fiance' with me or send her home to her parents, you see we got caught in the middle of doing "it", so I felt I loved her so much that I couldn't possibly take her away from Jehovah. I had a spotty record, she didn't so I knew I was the one who would be df'd...and I was. I found out later she got pregnant and was df'd anyway. My heart said take her with, but my head said no, I think that was the first and last time I listened to my head.
