Read Twisted Scriptures.
It isn't hard to twist them to "fit".
Plus, the indoctrination of the JW that the WTBTS promotes questions and critical thinking, when in reality it is the opposite, causes a huge cognitive dissonance. This conflicting double think causes people to stop thinking , which is very useful to those who want to twist words or lie to them.

The NWT was not edited to conform to any doctrines except that was more accurate to the original meanings of the scriptures.

Just Fine, if you bring up CSA, it is claimed to not be an issue because it is not an issue reporting to the police or not. Misogyny? It is called following the direction and example from scripture. That's how religion works. Got a problem with that?
