One "Brother" wanted me to lie on a report for a KH refinance project. My company nor my license didn't allow that to happen. This one of many things I had to deal with this group.

Thinking about sold kingdom halls around this area, one became an art gallery, one was transformed into a rental house.

Here is a classic example how you can support the advancement of so called false religion, yet I am not allowed to step foot into an op shop that is run by a church to buy a $2 shirt.

    Sea breeze:

If a person who professes to be a dedicated Christian witness of Jehovah were to accept a job [payment from]... a religious organization, he would, in actuality, become a part of that organization.

..I guess once again the WT publishes rules that are supposed to be "true for thee, but not for me".

Because when I bought my house, that meant I was the previous owner’s boss. Except for the fact that it’s not actually the same thing at all. The 1964 article actually said it would be wrong “to accept a job in the direct employ of such a religious organization”.

Is it hypocritical to sell a Kingdom Hall to another religious group? Maybe. Is it what the 1964 Watchtower was referring to? No.

So the most holy worship place of Jehovah is sold to become a place of False worship.

I think the GB should be the first to be destroyed in Armeggadon

The prime example of this is two Kingdom Halls in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The first picture is the old Central KH. This KH was where Albert Schroeder was head honcho a long time ago. This KH was where all the "A" list people attended. It is now an Islamic Center. The second KH is one that I attended for a few years before fading out. It is in White Oak, PA. It was sold in 2011 for $215,000. It is now a church called The Shekinah Temple.

Here is a similar thread on this site from about 5 years ago when the Indianapolis Indiana assembly hall was sold to a church.

When it is your money, they tell you to trust in Jah, when it is their $$$ they surreptitiously change the rules( It is just a building and Jah doesn't dwell in man made building etc.)

Jah doesn't follow buildings, he follows money and his chosen earthy organization (JWorg) is getting quite good in the real estate business these days.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate for JWS to dedicate the local bank the WTS uses to Jehovah ?
