Blondie, if you were more zealous as a Witness, all I can say is "WOW!". And I have to say how amazed I am over what you can research in such very little time.

I'll bet that the majority here that really prove the Watchtower is false, used to be prime defenders of the "truth", when they were active JW's.

The elders were too, minimus. They finally had to tell me to quit using the Bible and the publications to prove my point. They always tried to trump me with the elders' book and the BOE letters, or "the circuit overseer said." Since two of them had told me that there was nothing in those sources that weren't in the publications, they looked like lying fools when they said those sources said something different.

I spend about the same amount of time but with a different focus and it is much more satisfying.

I was raised hearing, "Don't believe it unless you see it in print in the Watchtower".......Now, even the Watchtower is interpeted for us thru the Circuit Overseer! ...........Blondie, I pity any elder that tried to go head to head with you, now.

I'm a lot more zealous now. I used to be a bit apathetic about it all, I didn't have to do any research ect because I got told what to believe from the platform. But now I'm doing a heck of a lot more research into things, and finding the real 'truth' for myself.

I did just about everything I was told as a JW. Everyone thought of me as a strong JW, up until near the end.

But my heart wasn't really in it; I can see that now. So as for being zealous, I think I'm more zealous now. I read much more about it now than I did then. It makes me want to tell others, unlike when I was a JW. :)
