I had my CO visit last eve. also...same talk... "The media which is part of Satan's inspired error, lies and twists the truth about JWs. (This to me is damage control since the ARC") I felt the same way when the co said this...I said, oh they are setting up the friends that if the ARC leaks out this side of the world. Clever....Of course I'm wondering if you and I are in the same congregation....but don't want to give myself up as of yet. Were there many CO visits this week ? What I love about the CO visit is how the friends really put on their best...yet, they criticize the Catholics regarding the Pope, yet the friends, get all holy & treat the CO, like he's THE POPE or something...sometimes you can't even get to meet them because some of the brown nosers hog up their time...like they are in with them...So immature....He & his wife are just human...that's what they say about the Pope...But man do they put on the dog. I don't worship man, because they will disappoint you ever single time. If you could or would you even post the bad video...I want to know who this was, without blowing our cover...But I feel good that you heard exactly what I heard...Damage Control..If you listen to the talk carefully, very clever how he presented it & if you aren't too swift, you'll think this talk was brilliant. But if you are a thinker & know what this org. is all about..you know exactly what he wasn't saying...I have said this in many of my replies...most folks are there because they really & truly think that God chose this org. That's why they are there..why else...nobody would stay anywhere where they keep admitting their errors, & not say to themselves...Ummm, something ain't right.. If tomorrow the org. would start to believe in the trinity, many eyebrows would raise, but because it's God's org. (he speaks directly to them:FDS) they will stay...Many folks in life feel they have no importance...& the org. gives them that feeling...of being special, needed & many of them tossed out their worldly friends so all they have is the org. They needed this special feeling since birth...& if they didn't get in the hall...they would have found it somewhere else...we all need to feel important...but some more than others..hope to hear from you SG098...

Every meeting I offer my wife the opportunity of whether she wants to take our son to the meeting or leave him with me. Most of the time she takes him , but about twice a month she leaves him with me.

I'm ok with her taking him because she doesn't get anything from the meeting because he can be a handful. My son is to young to understand what's going on.

When he gets old enough to comprehend more, I'm going to start to read to him about other religions and their crazy ideas and practices. I'm also going to read to him the slavery, racism, sexism, violence that's in the bible. In the age of information and reason, it's not going to be hard to show a child that "holy books" like the bible are just man-made works of fiction.

Last time the co was here he came up to me to introduce himself and I acted like I didn't know who he was, Hi what's your name, you must be new, where are you from, etc. you should have seen his reaction.
