    Blondie,

Being the masters of the quick-change show, they will come up with some explanation to feed to the masses. Remember when an increase in publisher numbers was clear evidence of God's Spirit? Then as numbers decreased, the WTS informed the World that increasing figures were not neccessarily evidence of Gods Spirit, because as Jesus stated, 'Narrow is the road and cramped is the way leading to life'. Growth is interpreted as 'Jehovah speeding up the work' - the end is near, lack of growth as a Satanic attack - the end is near.

Heads I win, tails you lose.

    Best regards - HS

Yes, HS, they rewrite the book when it suits them. They count on the bad memories of the rank and file who can't remember what the day's text was yesterday (because they don't read it). They emphasize what fits their story and downplay or hide what doesn't.

Deuteronomy 7:3,4 (don't marry an unbeliever) JWs hear this one all the time (over 200 times)

Deuteronomy 21:10-14 (you can marry an unbeliever) When's the last time this scripture showed up in a publication? (only 21 times and not direct mention of the conflict with Deut. 7:3,4)

[quote]However it seems that the WTS did the unthinkable. It actually bought in outside accountants *not* JW's who looked at the WTS books and running operations and advised a dramatic restructuring of the WTS, its finances and its corporate structure.[unquote]
