I think SwordofJah reads the questions/posts even if he does not respond, but I think the thousands who read the posts, from all here, may benefit from the information whether SOJ does or not.

Yeah, it's kinda weird... people think that they're going to help her. When, in fact, the opposite is true. She is only here to torment people, and that is a clear fact! It's also clear that she's mentally unstable, and I ask the same questions all the time.
I guess that from now on, I'll probably not be posting on her threads, b/c it's pointless. She enjoys contraversy, and getting everyone upset.

She? I thought SoJ was a he. Of course, it would make sense if SoJ was female. Probably, coming here fulfills a need she couldn't get in the WT patriarchy.

I love to read SOJ's responses. As I am an "unbeliever" married to a JW, his posts give me an idea of just how my husband will respond to a particular topic. It is invaluable to me to know how he has been programmed, since I have never gone through the indoctrination process myself. Keep posting, SOJ!!!!! You are helping me win my husband back from your cult!

To aid in the process of exorcising and shedding the skin of false belief. To engage in debate about matters that have a deep meaning and consequence in our lives. To help us understand the future by understanding the past. To while away our bored lives. To attempt the inhumane practice of intellectual one-upmanship. To show that XJW's can be just as bigoted and self-deluding as JW's. To laugh at others so that it distracts them from laughing at our good-selves.
Personally I think that Sword’s apologist attempts are as good as you are going to get, apart of course from the illustrious You Know, who donned his theological cloak some while ago and stormed out of JWD in search of more challenging pastures. So perhaps the answer is that we all a learn a little from the discourses, hopefully so does Mr. Sword.

I will admit that sometimes I question him/her because SOJ has said something I consider very rude, and I get angry. Sometimes I question SOJ because I honestly don't understand the mind bending excercices and delusions s/he must go through to jusify their own behaviour as well as the WTS. I actually don't consider SOJ a troll, but an arrogant, pompous and possibly honestly misguided person who seems to have a need for attention that is not fulfilled in any other manner.
However, I am also glad that SOJ posts, because any lurking dubs who are beginning to see the light should easily be able to see through the machinations of SOJ, hopefully realize that these are also the machinations of the WTS, and see the ridiculousness of the double speak and double think and break free.
