Let's decide on a place! Which is easier for everyone to get to: North Dallas, Arlington or downtown? If it's North Dallas, there's a good Mexican restaurant called La Hacienda that could probably seat a large group. If it's downtown, there's always Gloria's. Arlington I'm a little hazy on these days. But we'd better decide so someone (I'll do it if no one else wants to) can make a reservation. How many are we talking about?

    Cruzanheart & kids

Big Tex (if he can get off work)

    Lyin Eyes

    Wild Turkey

    Billygoat

    Mozzer

    DFWnonJW

    Tres Happy

Jesika (if she can get off early)

    Valis, where are you????

Megadude, Roo, Jade & Navigator -- wanna come?

    That's 12 so far.

Miss Cruzan, are you talking about the La Hacienda Ranch in on I-35. I have eaten at the one in Grapevine/Colleyville. Very good food...

Looks like on the other forum the decision has been made for Billy Bob's. 'Struth? Big Tex and I won't be able to make it either to Billy Bob's or Six Flags [*pout*]. If anyone else is going to have to miss Billy Bob's, PM me and maybe we can just get together for dinner Friday night with me and the kids.

BTTT - Valis, Mega, Roo, Sixy?

There's a bunch of restaurants in Irving off MacArthur and 635. Mi Cocina, Cheddars, Salt Grass, Rockfish (we've met here before), Jack Astors, and I think there may even be a Chili's or a Razoo's close by. There's a Champps, Red Hot and Blue, Bahama Breeze, and The Keg down off 183 and MacArthur. With the exception of RH&B, the rest are a little pricier, but have great food.

    Any preferences?

    Andi

Edited to add: I was just suggesting Irving as that's more centrally located to the DFW Metroplex than North Dallas, but we don't have to go there.

Lots of places to eat around Six Flags: Salt Grass, On the Border, Chili's, Trail Dust, Bennigan's, TGIF, Macaroni Grill, etc. If there is a Ranger game going on, then the restaurants get crowded before and after the game.

Trail Dust would be great! Music, dancing, and great steaks!

There is a TrailDust in Grapevine by the Bass Pro Shop/Grapevine Mills Mall. That's not far from Irving. It might be tough on a Friday unless we get there early. Like right at 5 or 5:30.
