Simon - "...He's just filling that niche."
There's something seriously fucked-up with the world when some niches can only be filled with horseshit.

I had done a little searching on this site before asking the question. I see the sensationalism and it felt to me like he was pushing some crazy out there. That seems to be the consensus. I wondered if there were specific and noteworthy things that might stand out. Everyone clearly has a feeling about the guy, and maybe I need to watch to fully get it, but I thought maybe there were specific moments that kind of highlighted what everyone sees.
I too remember coming across his site when first leaving the dubs but I couldn't stand the website design and it wreaked of crazy to me then so I went around until I landed here.
Thanks for all of the responses. :)
I remember accidentally encountering him on Youtube as JW...as well as Danny Hazard (who later pepper sprayed an older JW who came to his door). Both these men confirmed to me that Watchtower was right and that was what apostates were like. Because of these men, I didn't trust any exJW...not even JWfacts.
Rick's shows are often a toxic mess.
....the fact driven comments of Cedars.....

I know Rick. He basically is a very nice guy. I do not think his methods are all that productive. He loves sensationalism. I prefer hard cold facts. I wonder if some with mental issues gravitate toward the site.

He rectified that error, published an apology on Youtube and on this site, what more do you want?
@StephaneLaliberte
Morph has it really out for him, like a serious personal vendetta, I guess he wants the JW Survey people to be publicly executed like in biblical times or serve lifetime prison sentences ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk, when you find out, let me know.
People make mistakes. Owning up to them makes me respect them even more.
The funny thing is that Morph and Cedars have such similar personalities...
On this forum, we healthily accept that there are JWs and then there are JWs . So it should be unsurprising to learn that there are ex-JWs and then there are ex-JWs.
Rick Fearon is many things to many people but above all else he is a gift to JWs in that he confirms their stereotypes of apostates.
