I won a five hundred dollar VCR with a two dollar raffle ticket in late 80's.
Still works like a dream.

In the late 70's I won a Carribean cruise for two from Coca-cola.

My ex-wife was big into competitions especially ones with advertising slogans as tie breakers (this was in the UK) and I was recruited to assist. We won two vacations, money to spend at department stores, a mountain bike, a TV, several video game consoles, a sunbed, a CD player, movie preview tickets, an afternoon with "Magic" Johnson and a whole host of small items from coolers to clothing.

I won a catered lunch from a radio station for my office once, but other than that, I have never won anything that I can remember. I don't count all the times I've "won" a prize from a drawing (never the car) if I go listen to a high pressure time share pitch!

We subscribe to Lotto 649. Called 649 Advance. We play 3 numbers twice a week.
Occasionally they mail us a cheque for $10.00 if we match 3 of 6, and a few times over the past 3 years, we've received cheques ranging from $45.00 to $75.00 for matching 4 of 6.
2 weeks ago I received a call from the Ontatio Lottery Corporation, that 5 of 6 of my numbers had come up, and they were sending me a cheque for $1545.00
I had to laugh at myself, though, because though the prize money was an unexpected surprise, I was miffed, that I missed the jackpot prize of $5,000,000.00 by one number. Now when something happens at work that ticks me off, (customers, boss etc) I mumble to myself.......... 1 friggen number, 1 friggen number.....argh.
And now I have to pick a new set of 6 numbers to replace the 6, I won with, because I'm sure the "luck" is used up on those numbers now !

We've won £10 on the lottery a couple of times by matching 3 numbers, we play the same numbers every week. One week we matched 4 numbers which would have won us £80 - if I'd remembered to by the ticket that week

Hmmm,I never really won anything like that.I won 10 dollars on a scratch ticket!
Even when Tim hortens has "roooooll up the rim to win" (canadian coffe place..like american star bucks)..I just win a chance to" play again". Oh wait! I won a cookie once.
When I was younger and I was in track meets,I did win 1st place a lot when it came to sports.
