  On the JW.Org website, the Watchtower is sending out a strong warning with regard to Emoji's & flirting.

  My personal view is that the Org is now trying to micro-manage just about every aspect of people's lives!

  Satan and his demons have kept up with the times! No longer does one need to be worried about buying some artifact at a yard sale, junk shop, second hand store or receiving a gift from some worldly relative that might be 'demonized'! Satan caught the drift on technology and now he can influence our young people through their cell phones , smart phones and computers. Emoji's are the new 'Smurfs' for young adults and adolescents in the Jehovah's Witness religion.

  That's cool, I just didn't want to copy and paste my comment

  In the end I think anything that can help parent's open/start the convo on this sort of thing with their kids is good - a lot of emoji's have 'other' meanings, and I wouldn't want MY kids using them, even as 'fun', but that's just my take on it.

  It's just another example of the society micro managing the personal lives of its members...

  Even if there is some value in teaching kids to be wise with electronic communications, it is over the top for the society to be meddling in things like this...

  Whats next? Will they start telling all witnesses what sort of dress and grooming is appropriate? Oh, hang on....😜
