Lot's of families are dysfunctional, the Royals are great fun and not to be taken too seriously.

i think they constitute the most expansive comedy show in the world! if there was one good thing that came out of WWI for germany and austria than it was that we got rid of our idiotic aristocracy. i don't understand why you guys still kling to these idiots.

We've had a king or queen for 1400 years now, I think that to dispose of them would cause something akin to anarchy. Every service man swears allegiance to the monarch, as does every boy scout. It's so entrenched in our make up I really believe that we would flounder as a nation if they went. They do pay for themselves BTW, all those lovely American visitors outside Buckinham Palace fill up Londons coffers daily.. Englishman.

There is only one thing I find wrong with Great Britian.

They drive on the wrong side of the road. You can't deny it. Automobiles were invented in the US and it was decided then which side of the road cars were to drive on. I think the only reason they chose to drive on the other side is because they hate the US and don't want to be like us. To bad, the US started because of the English in the first place............so there!
