Its not you. And I believe its BS. We would have heard it through the regular sources on line if true. Unless there is a lot of pressure and financial cost the JWs will never give in.

I like Kim and Mikey's videos on occasion, but IMO, they talk just a bit too emphatically for my taste, and it makes them sound somewhat fanatical (especially Mikey)... like when writers on JWSurvey uses words like "shocking", or Rick Fearon's Alex-Jones-like shtick. Reminds me too much of Right-Wing talk radio.
They're not necessarily wrong, per se, and I definitely realize that a lot of these particular XJW activists are quite justifiably angry, but they still sound too loopy to my ears.
Maybe it's just me, but I've always wanted to avoid sounding like a nutball, because (ironically) when I was younger, I didn't want "worldy" folks to think JWs were wackos.
So above all, I personally think XJWs should go out of their way to avoid sounding like conspiracy theorists.
Or maybe it's just 'cause I'm Canadian, and laid-backness is simply a part of our cultural DNA.

I cant watch Kim and Mikey. I'm sure they're lovely people but he just shouts at the camera and neither of them get to the point.
When I click an interesting video and those two appear on screen I hit the "back" button.

Stephen Lett's comment about apostates saying the Org is permissive to pedophilia is disingenuous and ridiculous or some might call a Ball Park lie.
Ex-JWs have never said that, what they did say in general terms is that the Org handled situations of pedophilia within the Org with abandoned irresponsibly, mostly endeavored to uphold the image of the organization and its pertaining members.

Finkelstein, I expect WT recognize full well the accusations of Ex and never JWs.
Lett and other GB member's choice of wording is a method to further poison the words of non-JWs, so active JWs will be more prone to close their ears to criticisms, so they will be less likely to consider the accusations might have some merit.

The WTS has been in the business to control people's thinking and behavior for over 100 years.
It does this by implying fear, guilt, obligation ( because its Jehovah's chosen organization ) and corruption not only to lure people to the organization but also to sustain their devoted followers.
It may be true that ex-JWs have been recently pointing out the irresponsible failure of the WTS in handling situations of pedophilia within the organization but with good cause and compassionate concern to the victims or possible victims.
As I said previously because of the Org's pursuing interest to uphold the image of the organization of being one of righteous and clean, unlike other Christian based faiths like the Catholics, which the WTS has pointed out from time to time.
Its so two faced ironic now that the WTS/JWS is going through all of these law suits just like the Catholic organization and the fact why both organizations strived to conceal these situations was for the same similar reasons and intent.

Just want to point out that the WT hasn't said it didn't have a problem with paedophilia; they readily admit they have one just like every other religious organization. The lie however is that they are not permissive towards pedophiles. By the environment and the rules they upheld for several decades, they have, in fact, been permissive. Otherwise, how do you call their actions when they do not report pedophiles to the police?
