A "no comment" reply for the AG's Office is a standard reply. Government investigative/regulatory agencies are prohibited from making comments until after a case is adjudicated. This is to maintain the integrity of a case. The media knows this, but insists on asking and publishing the "no comment" response.

As stories like this become more common and are reported on in more and more areas, field serve-us for JWs will become increasingly uncomfortable as more and more householders bring up these points to the JWs at their door.

The 700+ blue envelopes Barbra says were turned into Bethel, were they just for the state of Pennsylvania or nationally?

lastmanstanding: The office of the attorney general’s office was contacted regarding the allegations of a Watchtower coverup of child sex abuse within the Jehovah’s Witness religion and we received the reply ...“We don’t intend to do a damned thing about it. We don’t think child sex abuse is really a big thing. So what ...a few kids we’re involved in a little but of fun. It’s not really a big thing.”
I understand your scepticism. After all, we are talking about a religion who is well known for its practice of taking on long, exhaustive, legal fights. The attorney general’s office will know that if they try to take this on, this will drag out over several years up to the Supreme Court. I am not aware of the state’s resources, but they may be limited for cases such as these and they might simply decide to let it slide.
What the attorney general needs to understand is that this is not just about the Jehovah’s Witnesses. It is about ANYONE who is aware of child abuse that needs to bring it forward. ANYONE!
If they win against perpetrators who try to hide behind their religious organization, it will send a loud and clear message: No one is above the law, not even religious communities.
This message needs to be heard and sent throughout the world. Let’s just hope that the attorney office sees it this way as well.

A very inconvenient elephant in that particular room if you put it the right way...
...IMO, you have to pose it as a sort-of-question (all innocent-and-confused-like, of course)...
"...I thought God of Magog was supposed to attack Babylon the Great first..."
