Ok guys, i have been tasked to ask for your opinions regarding this case.. And be honest. My brother sexted a girl a little over a year ago, they never dated, and she got mad at him.... She got engaged and the engagement ended in august.. She attempted suicide, then talked to the elders an told him she was gonna tell on him too, now that was in august, the sister told my brother that since she didn't know his hall they couldn't do anything.. We found that doesn't seem right, so hes been freaking out, but ita now two days away from 2017 and the elders haven't speaked to him yet.. Why could that be? Could they give him all this time to confess? Should he confess, due to the two witness rule, and girls don't usually save nudes? Hes saying that thy sent a letter to the branch office for consultation.. Idk ,can i please get your input on this

Tell him not to sweat it. Such a thing would need to be dealt with by HIS congregation elders. If they had proof they would have raised it with him by now. And even if they do want to meet with him he can turn down a visit. Or, if he does accept a visit deny deny deny.
!What, a suicidal, emotional teenage girl with apparent commitment issued claims i sent naked pics to her? Im offended! And it's rather stumbling that you brothers would think such a thing."

Is it possible to save a sexting message? If she has a copy and shows the elders, what info do the elders have access to? I watch too many cop shows and I know there certain ways to access the source.
I wouldn't refer to the end of the engagement as her fault, unless you know more than I do, pale emperor. The fiancé may have ended it without a good reason or she may have for a good reason.
If she knows his name and it is connected to the message...you'd be surprised how they can determine what congregation he is in.

PS I take it he is not saying he didn't send the sexting message to her. He admits that they were not dating. Why would he do that then.? Dumb, dumb.

STOP SEXTING WITH JW GIRLS!!!
There are literally thousands of women who have no problem with sexting and will not be bothered by exchanging sexting messages with him.
Dont ever talk to or txt this girl again.
Tell the elders to blow themselves, this can be done cordially or literally "go blow yourselves"
Leave the cult.
Go to college.
Pursue his passions.
Never look back
It is not any more difficult than this. Do not let anyone tell you it is.

I had a case in our hall when I was an elder when a married woman admitted after a talk about honesty that she gave oral sex to many boys when she was growing up in a different hall.
Whilst we helped her and her husband (who naturally was miffed) through it we had the duty to notify the other congregation of the boys, teenagers, what had happened.
We sent a letter...heard nothing...no action was ever taken against them.
Tell your brother to deny it, even if she saved the picture just get your brother to say he lost his phone for a while so any messages he never sent.
There is no way in hell they would write to the branch over a minor issue like this.

help me think like an elder
1)..Stop Thinking..
2)..Whoever it is,is probably guilty..
3)..Get a Confession!..
...............
Now for some good advice..
Tell your brother to deny it, even if she saved the picture just get your brother to say he lost his phone for a while so any messages he never sent.

First of all she will need to explain what is sexting to the elders..Next there will be a demonstration on two people sexting and that can be very ugly. Hell I'am not sure what sexting is. What happen to obscene phone calls????

So they will ask to see the nude messages? The elders will ask to see the person naked?

What is it with this generation (non overlapping) that they sexteck each other .
If my wife & I sextecked each other now we would both die laughing .( we are both in our 70`s)

No, there is an elders letter about sexting
So they will ask to see the nude messages? The elders will ask to see the person naked?
Well who has them? The sister? They may ask to see them on her phone but again your brother can deny he sent them, and no they will not ask to see someone naked...ever.
