You are entitled to be a debater if that makes you happy. It is good though to try to remember that not everyone is like you. Competetion is not in everyone's blood. I have a sister who reminds me of you...she is a jw and she gets her kicks off of trying to get me to debate with her. She views me as weak because I don't debate her...nothing is further from the truth. I am simply not interested, some people aren't like you.

KGB, I just got home. I had to go out after my post on the forgiveness thread. No one posted for awhile so I felt it was safe to leave.

My comments were not directed at you.

They were directed at all who say they are christian and basically born-again. I just don't understand that idea and I guess I never will.

Since leaving the dubs my life has been much happier. I have don't worry about what happens when I die. From my JW teachings I was told I have no soul. I have to agree with that. Since I have no soul, how can I worry about what happens when I am dead?

I am sorry you took my tongue in cheek words (I think about GW and Rocky Mountain Oysters) way too seriously.

I find it strange that you would be sorry that he wants to forgive. Sometimes forgiving is the path to healing and letting go of it. What good would it do to hold onto the anger and pain? It is freedom from that. Go ask Thunder....
