I have put up the recent Watchtower books on dirtclod.com for everyone's general use. Instead of putting up the entire collection in one large file, I simply broke down the books individually so you can browse them more easily. Have fun!

    Good job Jourles,

I like it. I think I am a visual kind of person, so I specially appreciated the small thumbnail pictures on the index.

Two thumbs up! Thanks a lot.

I also wanted to mention that if anyone has any earlier publications in the same format(true-image, searchable pdf), I wouldn't mind throwing them up too. Make it a depository of sorts. I know there are a couple CD's out there that have the old publications on them and they are sold for money, but since those pubs are in the public domain also, is it ok to put them on the web? Anyone know?

    Jourles,

may I suggest this? I saw no way of navigating from the HOME page of dirtclod.com to the page where the books are located. The solution would be to create a link on the HOME (initial) page, maybe?

As for putting up there those others CDs (I think you're talking about http://www.researchapplications.org ?), I don't think this is lawful since the books ARE in public domain but the digital work produced by them IS NOT.

    Again good job.

The link is there. It is shown as "Watchtower Books from the 1940's and 1950's." Right below the "Body Of Elders Letters."

    Fantastic work Jourles!

How long have you spent doing all this? Did you have to take the books apart to be able to scan them so well?
    Your effort is truly appreciated.

    Nic'
