"Splash 2" was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I think only about 4 people ever watched that movie.

As far as Phantom Menace, I actually liked it. Sure, it wasn't a 'great' movie but I thought it was somewhat entertaining. Any time a movie is overhyped too much some people will criticize it just because it didn't meet their unattainable expectations. Matrix 2 is a perfect example. That movie kicked serious ass but some people just got their hopes up way too high I guess.

Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace is a fucking masterpiece compared to its sequel, Attack of the Clones. Sure, it's easy to make fun of Jar-Jar, but as a film, Phantom Menace holds up ... somewhat. Attack of the Clones, however, is a god-awful mess. It's simply fashionable to hate Phantom, and I'm not surpised that the clowns at E-online went with the cliche.

And Batman and Robin was worse than either of them.

Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo. Why even attempt to top Breakin'?

PeeWee Herman's second movie, Big Top PeeWee(or sumthin like that) was just awful. Big Adventure is a classic, but I walked out on the next one.

Another bad one(or two), Somkey and the Bandit II and III. First one is great, the others sucked.

    Oh yeah, couple more:

The original Planet of the Apes was good and so was the first sequel, but 3, 4 and 5 were terrible.

The new Star Wars definately gets my vote ; don't know whether they count ?

Also, I agree Planet of the Apes was a classic but the new one is shit.

matrix reloaded is definitely in my top 10 .....along with men in black 2, and most likely t3 if i decide to subject myself to actually watching it......im thinking of just preserving the feel of the first two and pretending this latest one doesnt exist.

the phantom menace is actually a prequel, but since its being mentioned in this list, ill just say that i agree with dedalus.....attack of the clones was about 3000 times worse than phantom menace. at least menace had some decent acting (liam neeson) and a great villain (darth maul). clones was so painful i actually wanted to walk out, and i was one of the idiots standing in line on opening night......a mistake i dont intend to repeat for episode 3.

Jaws III and anything with "Police Academy" in the title.

    Trivia:

The film called "The Madness of George the 3rd" was renamed "The Madness of King George" for the USA release because it was thought that American audiences would think it was a sequel and people wouldn't see it because they 'couldn't remember seeing the other two'
