It's been a long time...but I didn't think you had to be baptised to be counted as a delegate...

I just called Matthew Lane's voice mail and left him a LONG message about JWs and pedophilia and told him to go to silentlambs.org to find out about it. I also told him I was making copies of my information and sending it out to all the papers in the area.

PLEASE call him too. if we fill up his voice mail he will have to do something about it. I left my name and city and state---but if you can't leave your name--atleast say where you are from so he knows this is not just a local thing! please do this!

But don't expect many here to follow you and me in this quest. I keep trying, yet no one seems to understand how dynamic this can be if we all were to DO MORE! Instead of just sitting on the net typing.

I too suggested phone calls to all sorts of people. That's all we can do babe, is keep ecouraging more to DO MORE.

You should see my phone bill at times. What is insane is that we really shouldn't even have to rally the masses to see what NEEDS AND MUST BE SEEN BY THE ENTIRE WORLD. The ones who are paid to report news, simply are selective for various 'excuses' and then we must DO THEIR JOBS FOR THEM. And know what?

WE WILL! WE WILL KEEP CALLING UNTIL WE ARE 'HEARD'.

MUM... I will be contacting your e-mail. You may possibly know me, by story anyway. As a child in the late 70's early 80's, I made the headlines, in relation to jw's. But I cannot post that here. You are sure to know someone in my family, if you were a dub then.

I know we arent supposed to put the same post on more than one topic... but anyone interested in doing more, hit my inbox. The response so far has been excellent. I have an interested party, my employer, who is willing to back me financially. I am far from organized, but our combined ideas and rescources may help.... If we manage to rescue one person, it is worth the effort.

ps...as I mentioned before... If I were just bored, I would go join the YMCA... My family is at stake, my mothers life is at stake... perhaps YOUR family is at stake too.

I just made the call.... no voice mail.... i got the man personally! He said he recieved a very interesting voice mail from a woman in virginia... and he would definitely check out silentlambs site. He said also that a former employee of (the paper I assume) was a JW and had stated that the organization was "overbearing".... I laughed.... "that is an understatement... these people are dangerous, and harbor criminals.. investigate on your own"

I think he is intrigued enough to do some checking.

Car park charges still operate in the U.K.

I have just been to an assembly (to take the wife) and there were over 2000 cars parked there at a cost of £9.00 ($15) for all three days. Single days not accepted.

This would have brought in £18,000 ($30,000) plust the contribution boxes.

It can’t cost that much to hire the football stadium (facility only).

I find it interesting that the WTS sends out a letter in the US stating that to simplify, the parking pass program will be dropped. This after the scandal out west(Tacoma?). But in the UK such simplification has yet to be instituted.

Scene at the WTS:

"Well, they're on to us on the parking scam. I guess we'll have to drop it."

"Ya know, nobody has caught on to it in the UK. We could keep doing it there and just drop it here and call it "simplification". It's worked before."

"Good idea. Let's do it. Now, how can we fix the books to show a deficit after two days so the fools, er, I mean, friends will give more?"
