How long has it been since you have been away from the meetings? I disassociated myself a little over two years ago, having learned some disturbing things about the Society. I feel I was "prayed" out, by gently concerned Christian friends in concert with my own personal research.

Did you become inactive because you married an unbeliever? Or had you been inactive before that? Do you celebrate worldly holidays like our American 4th of July?

WELCOME. Most here are not JW anymore, I left in 1997 and I too are never going back. Some here are not Christian either but no matter who or what they are all pretty good bunch of people.
