In a blaze of glory, preferrably in the act of saving other lives or at least with the knowledge that I'd changed at least one life for the better.

Age? Well as old as I can get, when I can't get it up anymore it's time to check out.

I'll let you in on a little secret. A lot of people have living wills and "Do Not Resucitate"'s. I've got a DNR that goes beyond. If something happens to me to where I'm going to be a permanent "vegetable" or totally paralyzed, I've made an agreement with an old close and trusted friend that he will help me end it. A quick overdose of morphine and I'll just go to sleep and never wake up.

I'd like to die, preferably in a somehow more interesting way than peacefully in my sleep. But not by illness. Maybe by exsanguination. Also, it must be dignifying. No sitting on the toilet or in some ha-ha funny position.

I don't obviously want "to go"........ I still think that living a few short years is not natural. I don't want to die at 84 with my daughter aged 42, still young enough for me to miss half of her life. I dread thinking of dying.............. of death, of pain, of disease, of heartache on my part and hers.
