Remember the Procter & Gamble scare?

Do any of you remember when it was announced that Procter and Gamble's logo was satanic? Everyone I knew did a thorough search of all P&G cleaning products in their homes, furiously scraping off the offending logo by any means necessary, or even throwing the product away just in case the moon and stars somehow reappeared after being removed.

I ran across the logo and I had a good chuckle. I thought back to how we were terrified of just about everything; even the most benign cleaning products. When I think of situations like this one, I just have to laugh and laugh. *laughs*

I have an entire wall all sun's and moon's so I think it's beautiful hmm since the moon and star's are supposed to be God's creation what am I missing. LOL

riz, LOL I remember that scare. I don't remember anyone scraping the symbol off, they threw the entire product(s) away. I remember the "pioneer sister" who was alerting everyone at the KH about it. She was usually the one in the middle of those things. Oh the memories.

Yeah, I remember that also. My MIL furiously ran around her house throwing away anything that had the P&G logo on it. Unfortunately, those were some of the better products made at the time.

Actually Procter and Gamble are Satanists, Im serious. They have openly admited it. I even remember them being on an Oprah saying it after asked .. they were talking about a new kind of oil to fry things in the gets rid of all the fat or somthing.

I say good on em. Their stand isn't negative at all. They arnt out the sacraficing Virgins like lots of people think.

Plus Im a big beleiver in Oil Of Olay and they make that. They rule!!

Monkey, you might wanna read this information that I found at Snopes. http://www.snopes.com/business/alliance/procter.asp This debunks the rumor that the Big Cheese of P&G is a satanist. By the way, I love Oil of Olay, too!

Plm, I heard that rumor, too. I'm sure people took the fact that there are 13 stars and ran with it.

I was temping at an office once wherein one of the cases was P&G's suit against Amway and several Amway distributors that alleged they were behind spreading the Satanic rumors.
