How Do You Think The USA Should Allow Illegal Immigrants To Freely Flow Into The Country?

Many people have said there is no emergency at the border for people illegally coming into the country and furthermore we have an obligation to help these people in a humanitarian way come through.

Do you think we can just keep on taking in all of these people?

I do think that appropriate people who are at risk of being killed in their home country should be able to request asylum legally according to current laws.

Sadly, many foreigners desiring access to the US have simply learned the "right thing" to say. These people need to be "vetted" and there needs to be sufficient time to do background checks. Some of those fleeing may deserve being killed (executed) or imprisoned in their country for crimes.

Presently only 21 days is allowed to do a background check if there is a minor in the group. It can take that long for a US citizen to get a Global Entry background check. These laws need changed so that immigration officials can do a thorough job.

Furthermore, the massive inflow of immigrants is crushing the welfare system in the US. (Of course there are many US citizens abusing this too.) Do you want US citizens who legitimately deserve assistance to be unable to receive such because an illiegal immigrant is being given the same benefits.

If you want such benefits available to anyone, shut up and put up. Vote to raise your taxes. Of course, the 48% of American that pay NO income tax, will likely have no problem with voting to raise (everyone else's) taxes.

The system is at a breaking point. It’s too bad so many refused to accept that reality.

"These people" have a curious affinity for wanting to go where the richest pickings of benefits are. The USA, and Germany. They would be safe in the first country they enter, Turkey, Algeria, or Mexico.

This a movement for queue- jumping, sabotaging the selection progress for productive immigrants. The US and Europe have enough basket cases and unemployed unqualified natively born.

The asylum rush, conveniently resulting from mayhem in "donor" countries, is the result of indiscriminate breeding.

What is he use of building a wall or mine the mediterranean, if the magic "A" word guarantees free entry and contamination of the rest of the planet with the same outcome they are fleeing from?

P.S. look at pictures of America, inner cities, Baltimore, Philly, the rust belt.--we need less population, not more, everywhere, but particularly from high polluters, in the "advanced" regions.

Now he's trying to blame all the child separations under his watch on Obama.

After total control of congress for the first 2 years after the election all his failures and world class blunders are still the democrats fault.

The USA is the place many want to be and.... change. A great place for prospective voters.

DOC, I should have added that they should be vetted, maybe they could increase the people doing that. In the end, it could cost less than adding personnel to ICE and other enforcement staff.

There is no easy answer, and closing the border and/or building a "wall" will not keep illegal immigrants out. It has not stopped the flow of drugs into the US. It will instead penalize those doing legal business with Mexico and others following the laws. It has not stopped the criminal organizations from continuing business as usual

Once again, there is no easy answer; and add to that that the motives of those making the laws or going around the laws don't seem to care about the individual US citizen.

I too am very concerned about the 1500 children that have been taken from their parents and been lost in the system. Have the people assigned their care been properly vetted as well.

We can talk all we want to to each other; we need to talk to the people representing us in Congress and vote our choice in elections that we can legally.

Out, I think Trump is clarifying what role Obama had in this area. Nobody complained about Obama’s role but if Trump did the same thing, they were all up in arms.
